1Who we are

The Service is operated by Valoroid Technology Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("Valoroid", "we", "us", "our"). You can contact us anytime at support@calorisync.com.

2What CaloriSync is — and isn't

CaloriSync is an AI-powered nutrition and wellness companion. It helps you log meals, track calories and macronutrients, and receive personalized nutrition guidance from our AI coach ("Kai").

3Eligibility and account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity on your account. Please tell us promptly at support@calorisync.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4Subscriptions, free trial, and billing

CaloriSync is free to download. Some features require a paid subscription ("CaloriSync Premium").

• Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information.
• If a free trial is offered, your subscription will auto-renew at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the price disclosed in the app at the time of purchase, until you cancel.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard refund policy. We can't issue refunds directly.

5Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• Misuse, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service;
• Use automated means (scrapers, bots) to access or interact with the Service without our permission;
• Upload or transmit malware, harmful content, or anything that infringes another person's rights;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
• Use the Service to provide medical advice or diagnosis to others.

6AI-generated content

Kai and other AI features generate responses, meal plans, recipes, and recommendations using machine learning models. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You agree to use your own judgment, and to consult a healthcare professional for anything that could affect your health.

We use enterprise AI partners (currently Google's Gemini models) under Data Processing Agreements. Your prompts and conversations are processed to deliver the Service and are not used to train third-party foundation models.

7Health data and Apple Health

If you grant permission, CaloriSync can read and write data to Apple Health (HealthKit) — for example, your weight, steps, workouts, and dietary energy. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Health. Health data we receive from HealthKit is handled in accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines and our Privacy Policy.

8Your content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including food logs, photos, custom recipes, and notes to Kai. You grant Valoroid a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You can export or delete your content at any time from the in-app Privacy settings.

9Intellectual property

The Service — including the CaloriSync name, logo, design, and software — is owned by Valoroid and its licensors and protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

10Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the in-app Privacy settings or by writing to support@calorisync.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your use creates a legal or security risk, or if continuing to provide the Service to you becomes commercially unreasonable. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice.

11Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valoroid disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valoroid's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in that period, or (b) ₹10,000. Valoroid is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 in India).

12Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Valoroid against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.

14Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
